MOESIA INFERIOR, Nicopolis ad Istrum. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (28mm, 11.54 g, 6h). Sabinius Modestus, legatis consularis. Struck AD 241-244. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Tyche, holding rudder and cornucopia, standing left within tetrastyle temple with spear and shield in pediment. H&J 8.36.46.12; Varbanov 4232. Good VF, green patina with some minor deposits, edge split, long scratch across reverse.
